Account Coordinator

Diamond Public Relations is looking for our next rising star. 

With a minimum of two years relevant experience, an Account Coordinator at our ageny should have a strong grasp on the building blocks of PR and can execute the daily tasks required of a successful PR campaign. This position includes interaction with clients and media and requires strong communication and organizational skills as well as a willingness to do whatever it takes to get a job done. Travel-specific experience is a huge plus.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Creation of story ideas and trend pitches
  • Daily pitching
  • Daily client interface
  • Secure and coordinate logistics for tv, radio, print and online promotions & giveaways
  • Ability to lead media with confidence during international travel
  • Coordinate travel and individual media trips
  • Research and list building
  • Reporting and Re-Caps

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Superior writing skills
  • Knowledge of PR database programs
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time
  • Excellent 'Google' skills (aka - research)
  • Self starter / Pro-active mindset
  • Desire for a career, not a job
  • Established media contacts
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • An eye for design
  • Ability and willingness to travel (Domestic and International)
  • Must be detail oriented with impeccable writing, phone and media relations skills
  • Energy, ambition and drive
  • Plays well with others
