Communications & Marketing Specialist #548

The Communications and Marketing Specialist will execute various communications functions. Areas of focus include writing, editing, producing multimedia, maintaining social media and web content, and generating promotional pieces. The specialist will ensure that internal and external communications align with university's brand and collaborate with both internal contacts and external vendors.




  • Bachelor's degree
  • One (1) year of experience in a marketing and/or communications role
  • Familiarity with marketing collateral development and related project management, including graphic design and video
  • Demonstrated writing and editorial skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and follow through on multiple projects
  • Highly motivated individual with an interest and capacity for leadership and collaboration with diverse groups of people
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to represent the university with tact and diplomacy at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential documents and information with discretion
  • Proficiency in website content management, internet, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms and Microsoft Office
