Senior Coordinator

Burness, a social change communications firm, is seeking a creative, detail-oriented person to join our healthy communities practice. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with two or more years of professional experience in communications, preferably with some knowledge of and experience in how communities are working to improve health.

The senior coordinator would assist mid-level and senior staff and perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: creating media lists, conducting online research on a variety of health policy topics, tracking news coverage, handling logistics for major media and stakeholder events, pitching to reporters, designing social media strategies and executing outreach, and drafting needed materials. A candidate should be able to write clearly and concisely, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
