The American Institute of Chemical Engineers ((...)) is looking to enhance our digital presence, increase lead generation, and improve brand awareness. The Senior Digital Marketing Associate is the primary person responsible for leading these efforts. In our search, we are seeking an individual with passion, creativity, and a broad range of digital marketing expertise, to be a part of AIChE's Marketing team.

 

Responsibilities:


• Plan, manage, and execute performance-based digital marketing strategies in support of AIChE's goals, mission and vision
• Create online promotional campaigns, including discovery, strategy development, implementation, and any monitoring programs required to determine ROI
• Provide creative input and often engage in copywriting, ideation, etc.
• Maximize effectiveness, plan, manage, and execute paid search and paid social campaigns across a series of platforms, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
• Effectively participate in new website development and other marketing projects from start to finish, on time and on budget
• Create and lead an email marketing program focused on various campaigns and initiatives, including email automation
• Manage the email campaign process from beginning to end including reviewing data and presenting analysis
• Working with content manager, strategize and monitor AIChE's blog
• Recommend changes to the website architecture and design, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions, overall visibility and conversion
• Strategically plan SEO tasks and creates quarterly and monthly SEO reports
• Continuously optimize all digital paid advertising, including researching new placements and audiences for driving qualified leads into sales and membership
• Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools to track and report on performance
• ‪‪Work closely with our creative team to provide guidance for ad creative, and deliver constructive feedback based on data as it relates to copy and design
• Monitor digital marketing trends, best practices, and techniques to ensure correct account spend/growth and identify new opportunities
• Proactively research campaign issues and formulate actionable solutions based on findings
• Support the business in the development of online communications and promotional strategies to achieve ROI and business objectives (...) lead generation, automated workflows, etc.
• Work closely with key stakeholders in each area to communicate plans and maximize opportunities
• Lowering CPA's (Cost Per Acquisitions/Lead) and increasing ROI across all campaigns

 

Education/Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree required
• 3-5 years of experience in field

- Intensive knowledge of social and other ad platforms such as, but not limited :
o Facebook Ads Manager
o Instagram Ads
o Google AdWords
o Linkedin
• Email campaign technology knowledge such as Informz and Constant Contact
• Experience working with advertiser network platforms (Adroll, Paid Social and Adwords), Google Analytics and social/webmaster tools, and marketing automation (HubSpot)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment
• Demonstrable ability to understand target prospect/customer personas, tailor messages for the particular marketing medium/format, with knowledge of best practices for doing so
• Strong organizational & time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• The ability to adapt to change quickly and to tackle unfamiliar tasks and requests with enthusiasm and resourcefulness
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Effective presentation skills
• Ability to acquire information and answer questions from team of managers, members, clients, and public
• Ability to work individually and on self-driven projects
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data, and suggest appropriate solutions
• Highly self-motivated

• Experience working with or being a part of professional associations/non-profits/volunteer-led organizations
• Experience in conference/event/webinar space
